I’ve heard that there are certain techniques and drills that are being used in order to improve breaststroke. They are based on certain pull-movements. Since I’m not very satisfied with my breaststroke, I’d like to try that pull and see if it can help me improve breaststroke. Is breaststroke pull difficult and can an older swimmer practice it? I hope it’s not too demanding.
You’re right. There are certain novelties that were introduced into this basic stroke, but I’ve heard of it only when I was watching the Olympic Games and when the commenter of the TV broadcast was talking about that new, improved breaststroke. I think that there are several drills that are based on pull and they can help you improve your arm movement and consequently you’ll be able to perform this new version of breaststroke. You’ll be happy to hear that even older swimmers can practice these drills and that, though this may seem difficult in the beginning, actually, it’s not. I only remember that he mentioned underwater breast pull and flat breast pull. I wish I could tell you more.
