Hi, I am 37 years old male and I think I am serious man. I have wife, kids and my own business. However sometimes I like speedy driving and several times police stopped me because of that. I usually try to find some reason why I did that because I feel little unpleasant when they see that I am not some kid or some problematic person. How do you act when policeman stops you for speeding?
Hi, similar thing happens to me too. Anyway I don't try to find any excuse for my behavior. I say that I know I make mistake and I pay my penalty. I am trying to avoid such situations but if that happens I am always ready to take full consequences of it.
Do you realize that if you are going 70 down the highway, a car pulls out to change lanes that is doing 55, you don't have time to react, it is like hitting a brick wall!! You will most likely die, and kill whoever was in the car you hit. Are you really ready to spend the rest of your life in jail IF you survive, for vehicular homicide? Because those are the consequences of it!
Only happened to me once because I rarely speed. Tips I can offer: Be honest, polite, turn your interior light on before he gets to the door, and keep your hands on the wheel. Apologize and answer all questions briefly with a clear voice and not too quickly as far as rate of speech.
