I can't stand this anymore! I have this disgusting disease called Bell's palsy. I look like a monster. I am model, why does this have to happen to me. My job is on the line. I know that it is caused by facial nerve inflammation. But I don't know the most important thing. How long does it lasts?
No one can tell you that, because it depends of the individual cases. It can be from few weeks to few months. It can even have some permanent consequences but it is very rare it usually goes away. In about 85% of cases it started to be better in three weeks and in 15% of cases it lasts between 3 and 6 months.

Thank you for that! I just developed Bells yesterday and a few people asked if I was going to curl up and hide.....nope! I press on. My looks do not define who I am as a person....so thank you for sticking up for us!
i have bells palsy the last 7 weeks and can see improvment every week buy hey i wont have it for life,, so iam just going to get on with it ,at the end of the day it could have being worst ,eh
you need to find your sense of humor honey and get on with life =- this could have been terminal cancer - this is a blip in your life - deal with it and move on = I was diagnosed yesterday - went dancing and fun and we laughed at all my funny faces - my lips do new meaning to twerking - lol please lighten up - see your doctor and physio and do your job to help yourself get better..
