how long does methadone take to get out of my sysem so i can pass a drug test

No lab or anyplace that gives drug test is ever aloud to tell a possible employer that u take methadone BUT u have to bring in proof like i brought in my takeout bottle but if u dont have that ur counsler can give u something to verify your prescibed methadone cause even goin to the clinic is considered having a script ....... hope could help

I came up positive for methadone 6 weeks after I stopped! They say it's your metabolism.

Any one how does a 10 or12 pannel test for sure it will show positive from 5 to 30 days everyone is different how healthy you are your metabolism is body fat how active you are etc. my advice is to buy a 12 pannel urine test and test yourself if you need peace of mind

if a person takes a small dose 1 time like 20 mg (juice) and they are skinny and healthy and have a high metabolism its very possible to pass in 3 or 4 days...

This is for the people that want a FACT answer to how long Mdone stays in your system "IF" you have been on it for many years...it take almost 3 weeks to test negative on a cup test but if they send it to lab like most pain clinics they will see that you are not currently taking and it's just stored in your body. This is facts and that 3 to 5 day stuff is for a one time user!

Thanks .last friday i did a bag of heroine. My name year old. Tried waking me up and was bright enuff to know that he needed to get help. He called 911 police arrivedhe callmyhusband who was here very fast. Wheen ems arrived i was in grave condition. My respiratory was at 3, they worked on me, for a long time. What a mess ,now i have a cps case.and they seem to be on a route to make my life a living hell.this a started after surgery and being on pain med getting cut off and trying to stay comfortable. The zanax. Will not let. Me sleep. .my Dr gave me ambien not working , i am up all night. 8 days clean, i need9 hour sleep help. They use that naconand ittwlrks your system for 2 weeks getting all the junk out your system. Thank u i am a good mother and will suffer acs will notcatch me witha dirty urine .they will not take. My son. . i ama high functional mother. Howerevd

This is good to know because my clinic almost took my take outs when they saw my papers from the hospital because they showed no methadone. Most of these clinics are so one-sided that they don't want to know about anything that is not in their book, because very few of them know much about methadone treatment (nurses & counselors )

Fleet, I just read your cogent, articulate and heartfelt post with tears in my eyes. I hope that many of these people with questions read it too. You so authentically described the addicts situation and feelings. I identified so closely with your story. I too, took many years to get off drugs then methadone. Finally did a 2 years step-down of my own invention which worked painlessly, and have been clean from it for 8 years. I was always stupified at how little support I got from the clinic doctors to leave the program. They were much happiier raising my dose than lowering it and were negetive about my chances at success getting off of it. I would just add to anyone trying to get off methadone, that you will have to be very singular in purpose, and be your own advocate with the medical staff of any clinic you may belong to.

I know in Alabama they test for 10 panel,when i started working for this company off and on since 2008 it's always been 5 panel at a local urgent care and passed with methadone every time, well when i decide to go back the 3rd time and work for the same company they using someone other place which i still didn't really worry bout it cause i just figure they wouldn't pay for 10 panel cause like most company's they'll cheap ass, but after i handed him my piss in cup and seen paper with a check mark next to 10 panel and just like i figured test positive for methadone and than had to do a full physical dropping ur britches hands on ball sac cough and all, my boss said since i was a really good worker that he's gonna let me still work and that jus be prepared for a random anytime, 3 months later i ran outta medicine for 2 days and couldn't get myself to crawl outta bed and i hate that, so now here i am jobless and making it hard on my ol lady, they said i can come back just gotta pass drug test so now that i know its a 10 panel im wondering how long it takes, i hear 2 to 5 days which i know aint rite, i always thought 7 to 9 days cause it stick to ur bones, but thats a long time to go without might have to go and try the fake piss, i been talk it works aslong the temperature is right
