I have now had my third cortisone injection but didn't help much. I now been referred to a spine specialist don't know what is going to happen. I really need to know how much are the injections? I have a lawyer and I got information and the injections at 7800. That is a lot of money. I also believe that it depends on what part of your body varies with the price.

I got Cortisone Shots in my foot for free from my podiatrist back in 2000. Then one day medical stopped covering the shots, the cost was going to be $50. This was in California. I have now been living in Kentucky for almost 2 years & I plan on asking my Dr to give me a Cortisone Shot in my ankle for Tendernitis. I have been wearing a cast for 3 weeks @ a time for the past 7 weeks. I'm tired if the pain & this time he took me off of work for the 3 weeks. I don't understand why he hasn't mentioned the Cortisone Shot. He's trying to avoid surgery, as I am on Coumadin.
