how much does shipping cost to canada?
i'm looking up books for the g/f (she has a few novels to get), and there's great prices, but the shipping is like $8-12 to canada on ebay. :?
i've shipped some big parcels and i don't recall them ever costing that much.
can anyone verify that for me?

i assume they are padding their shipping if they sell a book for 87 cents and want you to pay $12 shipping.... lots of people gouge.

I don't remember the last time I've bought something online and paid full shipping.
is amazon shipping reasonably quick? i've never used it before..
Amazon shipping is a bit spendy, honestly. I haven't had problems with their shipping. Ebay, you run the risk of folks being slow to ship or choosing a slow shipping method, but it shouldn't be more than $5 to ship to Canada, probably less.
