Wasnt sure if I could post as a guest there, potassium pills made it worse for me but in foods it is great, those are my top tips. I agree with good bacteria and exercise as well definitely. Unsure on it but apparently ginger can reduce gas production. Oh also having empty bowels if possible. This problem is a nightmare for me working in an office, loved the comment about how we should all work together lol.

Unfortunately I think that different things work for different people so you just need to find out what works for you.

For me, taking a probiotic every morning and raw vegetarian digestive enzyme tablets every time I eat works wonderfully.  In addition I have identified the foods that produce the loudest growls such as milk, bread & grapes and have surmised that I probably have some sort of fructose intolerance.  In addition to these I watch what I eat and drink lactose free milk and eat gluten free products.  I noticed that the moment I went back to my regular eating habits...the growling instantly came back.  i highly suggest that you create a food journal to document what foods or if even a lack of food is producing the growls.

Hey Guys! I can understand how embarrassing it is when the stomach growls when you are in classroom, meeting, date or other places. I was going through the same embarrassing moment but I talked to one of the pharmacists and my problem was solved. Try a chewable tablet called OVAL. It is in a blue box. It really works. The is extra strength  one in cherry flavor. You will need it in every two hours. I can bet your problem will be solved. :)

Hello Naina, Can you please tell us some more about OVAL. Which country did you buy it in? What company makes it? The reason is, when you search for OVAL chewable tablet, it just mentions the shape and one can't find the medication. I also wanted to point out that Neomycin, which is an antibiotic helped me some. Some people have mentioned that Pamine or Pamine Forte does not help them, but I noticed a HUGE difference with Pamine. I stopped, because I had chest pain, but I now I'm more than certain it was because of another medication I was taking. I highly suggest you guys try PAMINE or PAMINE FORTE. There are other antispasim medication, so you can try different ones out and see which one works best for you. Buscopan did not work on but, but Pamine did.

Research on probiotics. There may be bad bacteria in your gut or gastritis. To bring some humor, there was a scene in the movie Modern Times where Charlie Chaplin was sitting next to a woman and drinking tea- both of their stomachs gurgled.

It is common in North America, for some odd reason.

Hello guys,

I have had this problem for over 10 years. I think everyone's problem is slightly different. I believe that there is something that causes our colon to spasm and it varies from person to person. I have been on other forums for years under a slightly different name. Here are my recommendations: For those who have traveled abroad and maybe picked something up, I would suggest looking into Neomycin and Rifaximin, which I have read is good for SIBO. I took Neomycin, but I still had some noises afterwards, but not too often and pretty quiet.

Some of us have intolerances (Lactose, Gluten, High Fructose Corn Syrup, etc.) I am lactose intolerant and I drink coconut milk, which I think is made by silk. I can drink this with no noises. Try getting off each of these items for a couple weeks and see if it helps. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT STAY AWAY FROM ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS, these are very hard to digest and cause everyone problems.

Lastly, I believe that some of us just have hyper colons, which spasm. I would suggest looking into PAMINE, I took this some time ago and I felt great, no noises at all, NONE. I have read some people take PAMINE and it did nothing to them, but it made a HUGE difference for me, I could pretty much say it cured me. I have read another person say that taking Librax 4 times a day with 20 mg. of Lexapro cured him and now he has no stomach noises. Here are list of medications to look into:

PAMINE, LIBRAX, LEVSIN, DONNATAL, BENTYL, LOTRONEX, LEVBID, BUSCOPAN, etc.

I prefer to go natural, but to get rid of my stomach noises, I'm willing to do almost anything. Another thing, which is hard to do, but try to avoid STRESS.

Also, try to eat healthy and another thing that really helped me was running. I remember one day I ran like 3 miles before class and my stomach felt great. Also, try to take Probiotics and stay away from foods that are hard to digest.

Good luck to everyone and I hope you can all find a cure to your stomach noises.

Hello Guest,

I am glad to hear that something worked for you. Can you please tell us, what exactly worked for you, so that others can see what is working for others.

Also, when I mentioned above "for those who have traveled and picked something up" I meant if you picked up a bacteria, virus, work, parasite, etc. If you think you may have, try Neomycin or Rifaximin. In case you don't have insurance you can buy Neomycin in Mexico, under the name of like Neomicina.

Also, which is probably obvious to you guys, but I am not a doctor, these are just my ideas and my feedback.

As I have said, some of the medications I mentioned above might help you guys (PAMINE, LIBRAX, BUSCOPAN, etc.). I'm looking to see if I can buy Pamine abroad, but no luck. Will be my passport renewed soon and I'm planning a trip to see a doctor abroad and to buy some medication.

I will keep you guys posted. Also PLEASE post any cures you guys come up with. Thanks!
