My cousin died recently for having ovarian cancer. So I want to check out my ovaries too for I’m afraid that genetics may be involved in this. So I’d like to hear if there’s anyone with ovarian cancer experience and how were you diagnosed?

Hi! I’m diagnosed with ovarian cancer and just passed through an operation and chemotherapy afterwards and now doctors sad that I was diagnosed on time and my ovaries are well treated and I have good chances to survive. Nothing, I went to my doc for some stupid reasons as I believed such as constant fatigue, stomach bloated and digestive problems but also stronger bleeding- but it turned out to be very serious- I got diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Fortunately my doc advised me to do CA125 blood test and an ultrasound. The first one is ovarian tumor marker that in my case showed raised level of cancer cells in my blood and for that diagnoses are not often reliable if this tumor marker is followed I also had an ultrasound that showed that the size of my ovaries is bigger than usual and their texture abnormal. After I have done those two tests I got diagnosed with ovarian cancer. So if you constantly have described symptoms I’d advice you do CA125 blood test and ultrasound also/
