Ok i'm 15 and male and last wednesday i got back from spain, i diddn't eat anything out of the ordinary over there and my diet was pretty normal consisting of a different meal per day. I ate some new foods that i had not had before such as kalamari and piella rice. So last thursday i took a day off school to recover from my jet lag and this is where it began. It started off on thursday, fairly weak, just below the ribs i would feel a small aching sensation. The next day i went back to school only to feel this aching sensation increase. That night was alright i woke up once or twice which is fairly normal for me. The next day (Saturday) it was so much worse. The pain just below my ribs had increased propostrusly. That night was incredibly frutstrating, the pain caused me to riggle around and wake up every half our or so. My soft sheets increased the annoyingness of it all. Skip to monday. I have gathered by now that the pains apear about 15 minutes after eating any types of food, and i mean any, even icecream. I can actually feel the pain moving from just below my ribs to just below my belly button. I hadn't s**t in about 3 days aswell. Today i went to the doctors hoping that they could give me some advice or perhaps some sort of medicine. I had a rather fat male doctor which was quite disturbing as he had a quick "grope" but in the end he had no idea what it could be his only idea was perhaps stress related illness but currently i have no stress in my life. He asked me to piss in a vile but i diddn't need one so i took it back home. When i got back i had a big drink of this fybergel stuff, which should help move my bowels, i s**t about 2 hours later. I also occasionaly heave and can feel and even sometimes taste a bit of sick in the back of my throat. I am starting to avoid eating now as it brings way too much pain and i can't sleep. Please for god sake try and help me, i am currently looking up potential illnesses.
Don't read into to much medical information that you find on line.
Some times people look up their symptoms and before you know it they have every single symptom in the book, even if they don't.
If you are not happy with the Doctor that checked you out the first time, i suggest you find another. Get a second opinion for sure.
Doesn't sound like food poisoning.
I know if there is a gall bladder problem, your stomach will hurt after eating.
Seek out another MD.
Explain to him what you are feeling, everything.

Go to a reliable well known doc in the area, tell him your concern and the amount of pain you are in. The first step in your diagnosis should be a blood work lab test, testing the Amalyse and Lipase levels in your blood will tell alot. Sounds to me like a possible cause for gall bladder attack, but could be something more advanced, let's hope not. If it is the gall bladder it is a simple surgery to remove. Are you throwing up bile or anything..? Do you feel nauseated..? Fever..? Jaundice..? These are tell tale signs of something that needs attention. More often do docs send you home with no diagnosis, later to your risk to find out you have a serious illness that needs immediate treatment.
