. I'm still not sure if this is AENeuralgia/Syndrome but there are still many options left....let's gather and not give up. Together we can do a lot more than on our own. We have to share everything we know, compare each other's symptoms and possible causes, share things that work/didn't work. This will help a lot. And if we gather maybe we can also attract some attention to this rare ailment. There is a doctor called Todd Rozen(headache and trigeminal autonomic cephalgias specialist) in US who has done very much research in different Headache Types and from what I've read what has attracted his interest into this subject is being affected himself from chronic headaches

I'm having the exact same symptoms right now and it's miserable. my eye keeps running and it stings to sniff so, I'm walking around with a moist piece of tissue or kleenex just stuck up there. I'm hearing hot beverages and steam will help. I'm going to try some salin drops from my local pharmacy. I'm just afraid it's going to turn into a sinus infection. Then I'll need antibiotics. Is there any true relief solutions? Help!!!!!!

Have had this problem for 3 days as well, stuffing a tissue in the nostril very gently at the bottom just enough to block air flow provides temporary relief for me. Its strange how similar all our symptoms and explinations are. The guy who was been struggling with this for 8 years has a description of that is most accurate in my experience

clean you nose with warm water .pure water inside your nose like Muslims wash their noses. go and watch in you tube by typing in how Muslims wash their noses. there are stereotypes about Muslims but they are not true.

The exact same thing has happened to me twice now!! Not right after running, but about an hour or so after. The thing is that I run 5 miles every day for the past 5 months and this will only be the second time this has happened. It starts with a sneezing fit and then my nose will run and run and run and it hurts to breath in through it..I'm so confused

I have had something similar to this. I have had it for 3 months. I will breathe into my right nostril and I have pain like someone is pinching my head on the top back, sometimes is feels just tight other times like burning. Sometimes my ear feels like it is aching when I breathe in as well. I was told by a doctor that it is maybe - TN (trigeminal neuralagia) but it does not correspond to the symptoms listed by TN sufferers at all. He told me it is not a brain tumor - he did a neuro test - but it is very strange.
I am not sure what it is but in moist air there is absolutely no pain at all - cold air really affects it and I have to sleep with a tissue up my nose so I feel no pain. Sometimes I have no pain while sleeping other times I do...it is really weird and annoying and I'm sick of it and I have had it only for 3 months.
I am going to try something other than western medicine. I'm headed to the chiropractor next week and then acupuncture.

Yes, me as well. Tried Q Tip made worse. Vaseline, Kinda stops airflow. Going to try nose rinsing tomorrow. I read the others saying winter is worse. Yes. Then I stumbled on this information that makes sense. Left nostril breathing vs right. It makes sense. I also noticed I developed this problem since I've been on medication. Any others on any form of anti depressants? My body may be into that "relaxed" breathing left side due to meds.
