After my regular exam at my doctor, gynecologist, I started to worry a lot. He found something he called “hypoechoic cyst”. He never told me anything about this, he just suggested more testing. Please, if you heard something about this or you had similar problem, write. Any information about this will be helpful.
A hypoechoic cyst is term which use doctors in order to describe phenomena seen on ultrasound. It means that some tissue is giving fewer echos on U/S than the tissue around it. You said that your gynecologist saw this and told you about it. The best thing you can do is to talk to him/her and to ask for explanation. Since I am not a doctor I can not tell you more about this, but your doctor can.
