Im 7 mnths pregnant and i am taking 50 mlgs of Methadone a PAR I was just wondering of the methadone was doing damage to my baby boy...i heard yes and ive heard no i knowthe baby will have to detox from it thats a given but will i have long term problems will it effect the way my baby looks or will he look normal and be healthy?? Please let me know..Im so curious!! Thanks
Do you need to be on the meth?? It more than likely is doing some damage, unfortunate as it is, maybe you should think about this, and what about when the baby is born!
Hun I'm nor sure whay you are taking methadone while you are pregnant. And I cant give you a yes or no answer but I can tell you that they get really fussy and have the shakes while coming off of metadone. So it is hard to have a child addicted to meth. Just be careful and if you are planning on nursing then you should quit right away. Not unless you have a death wish for this child of yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
