I am schedualed to have a bartholin cyst removed tomorrow in my gynos office. He told me it is 4 centimeters, and he will be putting a catheter in so that it can drain. I am concerned about the pain afterwards. I have 2 small children a 3 year old and a 4 month old. I just want to know if I will be given any type of pain medicine to take afterwards or if I will be feeling fine and be able to take care of my kids and return to work the next day, Wondering if I should try and get someone in my home to watch my kids in the afternoon after the procedure. Is there anything I can do to speed up the recovery? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, I am just not at all sure what to expect after this, Thank you,
Susan

Sounds like most of these questions could be answered by the personel at the front desk of your hospital or doctors office, or wherever you will be having the procedure done. :-) Hope that helps, and best of luck!! I wish you a quick recovery!
