Masturbation is a subject that we as a society are not good at dealing with.When it comes to dealing with children masturbating we need to "grow a pair" and at least be able to talk about this as parents. Then we can talk to our children and advise them. I know that children are more astute when it comes to everything technical but an eleven year old girl should not masturbate to porn. She is already masturbating with her pillow which is a learning experience but porn is something that never appreciates the female.

If you dont want her watching porn just go on parantel control and if she gos for the phone have certain areas of time for when she's aloud to use the Internet. Put a pass code on the computer and unlock it for when it's computer Time. But tell her why your doing this

I am 13 and I think I started manstrabating at around 11 so it's perfectly normal. I know I would be absolutely mortified if my mum even talked to me about sexual things. I watch porn and really it's no different to when you are an adult (although I assume the sexual urge would be stronger) but watching porn gets us turned on and helps us to manstrabate better just like it probably does to you adults.
On my mobile I do have a parental control thingy which means that if I try to go on something too old it will say * you are not 18 years of age or older please contact Vodaphone to get parental controls removed.*

I think it came with the sim card as it has always been there but I'm sure you could put that on her computer if you wish.

I know she is young and I am too only being 2 years older than her but I rarely watch porn as reading (forgive my Harry Potter obsessed mind) Harry Potter fanfics that turn me on or simply role play pretending I am Ginny and my pillow is Harry. All I end up doing is snogging my pillow and talking quietly to it or *Harry* and take my top off, I never do anything with my lower half as I am too wrapped up in my fantasy so you could introduce her to fanfiction for a movie or book she likes and I recommend the site

its sort of normal for a 11 year old to be curious but if she is humping her pillow then thats a problem. it is going to be hard to make her stop so just chat with her about it and ask why,then put her  under watch and it wil be fine

 

Poor... POOR ignorant guest (on 4/7/13), have you no eyes? everyone says humping pillows pillows is ok. Both teens and adults do. Take the Control over your daughter, pornography is very harmful for a 11 year old girl, I also think that is too young to masturbate, please talk to her.

The masturbating is okay seeing as how it is completely natural, but an eleven year old should NOT be watching porn. She shouldn't even have her own laptop or smart phone in my opinion, let alone complete free range of the internet. Shes past the point of "self discovery" obviously. She knows what she's doing is sexual and that's why she's watching porn and imitating it! Ill be damned if I raise my child this way. Shes your daughter, you have control over what she sees. Iggnorant parenting if you ask me.

I myself started doing stuff like that around 9 I'm 17 now and I haven't don't anything truly "wrong" I mean sure we aren't supposed to look up such things but there are so many ways to bypass parental controls... but there really isn't anything u can do about it... and just cus she is starting around 11 doesn't mean its anymore likely that she will do something she shouldn't so just leave her be
