I'm 21 years old with a 2 year old son. In March of 2010 my doctors found that I have endometriosis. I received the Lupron shot, about a month later I got on the Implonon birth conrol. For about 6 months I didn't have a menstral cycle, then I had one evry two weeks, after that they grew to three week periods. My periods were rather normal until recently. Now my periods are dark blood, along with clotting and they're lasting 4 weeks. They're soaking 5-6 super pads a day for three weeks and then get light, the last 3-4 days of my period I have bright red blood. I fear that my endometriosis is acting back up but I'm not for sure. Is there anypne who can help me? I can't get in to see my gyno until late Janurary.
I found out 6 months ago, that I have endometriosis as well. The doctor was telling me that even after treatments, that endo can always come back at a later time. I don't know if you have some of the side effects like- nausea, chronic pelvic pain, short of breathe, heavy clotting when on period, or pain during using the restroom. But, if you're starting to feel your normal side effects come back, then it may possibly be back. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web
