Help me! There is such a huge pressure in my eyes. I keep feeling it, even when I am sleeping. It didn't happen over the night at all, I had this intravetreal injection and after this, all of my problems started to happen. I feel such a pressure and it bothers me a lot, sometimes I feel that my head hurts, but it is probably caused by this feeling.

But, I don't know what to do about this whole situation? What do you think? Should I see my doctor and tell him about this? I mean, is there any way that he can help me?

Yes, you should go to see your doctor because anything that you feel - such as blurred vision, floated objects, pain or you have this constant feel that something is in your eye - those are the signs of the possible infection after intravetreal injection. So, when did you start to feel this pain? Just right after the procedure or? Something like this you should never ignore. Pain is always a sign that there is something wrong with you. And your head hurts as well - this is all related and your doctor should find a way to treat it and to make this pain goes away.

Totally... Visiting your doctor is an option number one. Your doctor needs to set a proper macular degeneration treatment, but first, he needs to examine the main problem. Why did this happen? Sure, there are huge possibilities that some side - effects happen after the surgery, but anyway, eye pressure is something that you should not ignore. This usually requires and antibiotics in order to treat it. But it depends on a lot of factors what type of antibiotics he will prescribe to you. You need to react soon before this goes wrong. I sincerely hope that you are ok.

Hi there. I think that my friend's mom had the same situation, as far as I can remember. She was very scared. She went to see her doctor and she told her that those are short-term side - effects. But, I remember that she had a slight pressure, it was not constant. But if that pressure is strong, you really need to do something about it, because having a stronger type of pressure is not that normal. It is normal that you feel slight pressure, but it shouldn't be hard. So, anyway, consulting your doctor is something that you need to do.

ok, I had this procedure so I can say a bit about this. the pressure immediately after the injection was really, really huge, I believed that my head is going to explode. I just never felt this way, it was something between the pressure and headache, I just really can't explain. this lasted for half an hour and I can say that this was worse half an hour that I ever had in my whole life. after 30 minutes, I still felt this pressure, but it was not that hard, it was tolerably. now, my point is that you should never let this pressure and I think that it is not normal for a patient to feel a pressure after 30 minutes.

No, no, no. I think that you are making a mistake. It is not an option that some pain or pressure goes away after just 30 minutes, it is not possible. I mean, just imagine when you hit yourself into the leg, for example, the pain won't go after 30 minutes, at all. I think that optimum time that the pain and the pressure go away is 24 hours, maybe 32. If after 32 hours for example than it is a time for alarm, but turning on an alarm before this it is nonsense. So, observe the situation and the intensity of the pain. That is my advice.

Hi guys, First, I hope that now everything is fine. I had this injection and I was OK after 12 hours, I think. True, the pain was really huge and the pressure was really bad, but I was OK with it. Of course, I immediately asked my doctor about this and he told me that this type of pressure - I have tried to explain this to him, that it is normal. He gave me some painkillers that made my pressure a little bit easier, but it was not that helpful. A little bit, but the pressure was there. The most important thing is that this injection is safe and of course, beside this issue, there are some chances for the bleeding, but that is also a normal thing.
