I had a hemorrhoidectomy yesterday and just took the bandage off and I have absolutely no swelling! There is little to no pain . I have not had a bowel movement yet. The doc said they were very large ( Olympic size ) and yet no swelling? I guess I'm just lucky. I am however nervous about that first bowel movement.
