I had my LEEP done in November after discovering that I had High Grade Squamous Lesions. I just today went for my 6 month follow up and my gynecologist said just from looking that he could see that I had 2 area's of concern. He did a biopsy on both spots and now I have to wait another month to find out the results..I knew that my follow up wasn't going to be great because I was still having the same problems I had before the LEEP, just not as severe. I am still bleeding after intercourse and atleast a week or two after my period I am still having bloody discharge. Sometimes I still will even just go to the washroom to pee and wipe and have bloody mucas.
I am married with three kids and I am to the point where I am so tired of stressing that I just want the hysterectomy done without waiting to see what my biopsy results are. Cancer is very high in my family and I don't want to take any chances. Has anyone had a hysterectomy done? I am wondering how terrible the surgery is..
