I have three children from a previous relationship i had the mirina coil fitted for 4 year and had it removed 18 months ago every month im getting symtoms of pregnancy eg: swollen breasts, mood swings, tiredness but im not pregnant my partner hasnt any children from previous relationships im realy starting to worry now could there be something wrong has anyone else had any similar problems im very upset over this.
Hi there, the Mirena coil does not cause any sort of infertility issues so I don't think that's the source of your problems. I think that you might want to go to a fertility specialist with your partner to figure out what's going on. It could be that he is not able to produce the right amount of sperm or something along those lines--I'm not sure, just guessing! That is a long time to wait to conceive so I think there might be something going wrong. Can you talk to your doctor and let us know how it goes? Thanks!
