Every few months my thumb, usually 1 or the other will out of nowhere become itchy where my prints would be. And then it starts to become hard, I could feel it, and some what swollen, but not too noticable. It will turn a darker color than the other thumb and if I touch something like a book with my thumb it feels like there is a hard ball in it. Usually this last from 20 min. to over an hour. I am not allergic to anything that I know of. Does anyone know what this could be?
I have the same thing with my thumb(s). I've been wondering if it has anything to do with a pinched nerve in the neck or back? I have been having a lot of neck and back pain lately.
