I have had an external hemroid for a few years now. I am lucky enough to not really have any uncomfortable symtoms, but I know its there because its visible. I haven't had anal sex since I developed this because I am scared that it will worsen my state, and like I said, as of now its not so bad. Should I talk to a doctor before I have anal sex again, or is it safe as long as I'm careful in the act?
I am not sure how careful one can be during sex especially your partner because when it comes to anal sex, being careful is harder. If you had it before, I am sure you would understand what I am trying to say. Once men are in, there is no more control. At least, that is my experience.
I know for a fact that anal sex doesn’t lead to hemorrhoid formation. I even heard that anal sex could aid in decreasing them as it would enhance blood flow.
But I can’t say this is 100% true…what if it causes some kind of inflammation and you start experiencing symptoms after sex?
I would talk to a doctor if I were you. S/he would be able to tell you more about your specific condition.

Actually, anal sex CAN cause hemorrhoids. this is definitely a question for a doctor, not a random whosit online.
anal sex requires care, hemorrhoids or no. my rule of thumb is that if you experience any pain, pay attention. pay is your body's way of alerting you to something wrong.
there are numerous sites with helpful advice on how to have safe and sane anal sex.
a doctor can assess your hemorrhoids and suggest options for treating them.
