I have been abusing my Subutex. Now am OUT! and FREAKED OUT!

I began taking Subutex about 1 month now. At first I felt fine. Like a million bucks when taking them properly. I guess I began to crave them. So about the last two weeks I have taken them like 2-3 8mg in the morning, and then eating them like tic tacs all day long. Now for about a week I have gone thru like 70. I am out. I haven't begun to detox yet and am thinking of just fessing up to my dr. Will he cut me off all together? Is there something I can take or he can perscribe to get me thru the detox, that will ease the symptoms? (not pain pills, but actual like nauesa meds or something) I am scared to death! Someone please let me know what I can do to get thru this! What insanity! I have typed all day looking for someone who has abused Subutex. Not a peep! I am reading and all i get is "well wean yourself off", like I can go buy them from the Dollar General! Am I the only admitted dumbass?

I can take it if someone will dish it out!

You are not the only dumb-ass, other than taking them like tic-tacs but I know what its like. What your doctor will do is hard to say. If withdrawal symptoms are ocurring, asking for clonidine can help somewhat. They may give you short term benzo's to keep you off the ceiling. They may not because those are also abuseable whereas its tough, but possible, to abuse clonidine. Call and find out. No is the worst you can get and at least you will know. If you are nauseated, he/she can prescribe a number of meds. If diarrhea starts, try Imodium and Metamucil. Nothing OTC really is very effective for nausea.

Good luck and try to hang in. It will pass. It just will seem like forever, but it won't be.
