i had Mireana inserted on 7/14/08 after my 6 week check up after having my son. I have a a period always until i had it in for a year then i stopped having a period and than in 9/23/2009 i had a cyst on my ovary and had sex and bled a little in December on the 23rd. Then i thought that i might be pregnant and i have taken 3 tests all said negative. I was just wondering if any one else has had negative tests but was really Pregnant with an iud in? and what is the best test to take to see if your pregnant?
Hi honey! IUD are VERY reliable BC, BUT they are notorious for side effects! Due to the fact that you have a cyst - and perhaps more now - this will probably be the reason (along with the IUD) why you are not having a period! I would really like you to see your doctor and ask for a pelvic ultrasound - to see about your cyst! IF you are trying to get pregnant, you need the IUD to be removed! You do NOT want the pregnant while your IUD is in you uterus! You need to think about that - IF you are pregnant, they HAVE to go inside where the embryo is and remove it!!!!! So just keep that in mind OK? Please let me know how you make out OK? And good luck and health!
we are not trying to get pregnant, my breasts hurt bad and i'm always hungry. i was just wondering if anyone had gotten negative pregnancy tests back but were really pregnant? i'm going to get a blood test and have them do a pelvic exam too just to make sure everything is good.
Before I became a counsellor/supporter on here, I NEVER heard of false negatives for HPT! But I can't even count how many women had negative tests and were indeed pregnant! BUT I don't think you are, I think it has to do with your cyst! If you google PCOS symptoms I am sure you will think the same thing! Please let me know how you make out OK? Good luck honey!
i don't have any of those symptoms except for me not having a period which is because of the IUD. I have all of the symptoms of being pregnant,like nausea, sore breasts and also breast discharge,dizziness and being more hungry. I'm going to get a blood test on Tuesday.i have been reading on this site of all of these woman getting pregnant on the IUD so its possible and its scary too. thanks for the reply i will let you know how it goes.

I'm 18 years old and have and IUD...I had sex about 3 weeks ago and i work on cars....i took a text this weekend at the 2 week mark and it turned out negative but im going to the bathroom alot like 3 times aday when i use to 1-2 times..im always eating and havce pains in my tummy but i dont know if im pregnant NEEd HELP
