Hi, I'm 21 and have never been sexually active. I have had itchy vagina flaps/buttcheeks for a while now. At first i thought it may have been heat rash as it is a lot more itchier when I'm hot which is quite often due to my weight. As i'm not now nor have i ever been sexually active i'm too shy to seek medical advice. It is getting itchier these days and has turned into a rash type thing due to my excessive itching.Could this possibly be related to a yeast infection? the rash/itching has spread to my lower stomach and top thigh below my butt cheeks.
It does sound like a yeast infection, but you won't know for sure unless you do seek medical attention. They'll just give you antibiotics to take for a week... But considering you mentioned your weight, it sounds like there just isn't enough room for your vagina+ to breathe. Which would definitely cause infection! The bacteria must have room to cycle out...
