Ever since I was 13 my period has been irregular. The doctor put me on birth control which helped regulate it. But I have been off for a year and they are irregular again. I have never been pregnant but my husband and I want to have a baby. I get the symptoms of pregnancy but when I take the test it's always negative. Can I get pregnant?
I can't give you definite answer, as no one over the internet can - you need to see your gynecologist, get all the examinations and tests you need (both of you) so that your doctor can determine your ovulation cycle. The fact that you do get these symptoms and that you do have periods point towards the conclusion that your ovaries are active, which means that they maybe do release fertile eggs, but you need to start tracking when your ovulation happens because that is the only time in-between your periods when you can get pregnant. Symptoms you are experiencing might be sign of ovulation, but could also mean PMS, so that is why you need all the details from your gynecologist.
