Hello, I am 44 years old and I have been experiencing some health problems with my thyroid gland. I mean, I think it is related to that, I had some problems with swallowing and with tachycardia, so I wan to see what is going on. I have scheduled an ultrasound and I hope everything will be ok.
The symptoms you have mentioned might be a result of the problems with the thyroid gland and the ultrasound will help in determining that. There are so called hot and cold spots that can be seen on the ultrasound and those represent either a benign tissue or something that might need some additional examination.
