i have these little skin bump things in my vagina. they have been there since before i had lost my virginity. they look like.. i guess kinda like a tinny tiny crumb of a rice crispy treat but skin color. they do not itch or hurt at all, my boyfriend has not STDs, but we do not use protection because we are very very serious and latex gives me a rash. recently though, he broke out with a cold sore, and he licked me down there just once but he swears his lips did not touch at all. i am very sensitive in my lady parts, the smallest things, like too many baths, not putting diaper rash cream on, razors, tampons, and pads irritate me. so i almost always have some little bumps but i know they are not anything. i just need to know whether to panic or not. my boyfriend swears i don't have it, because i did make him get tested before we did anything, but i can't help but second guess myself..
Hello,
I totally agree with you being absolutely cautious because if you get infected with HPV once, it stays in your body forever and can cause extremely serious health problems. So, regular ob-gyn checkups, especially if you have any doubt as to what any change in your vagina might be, are something you should start doing as soon as you start having regular sexual relationships.
However, since you said you had these little bumps even before any sexual intercourse, there is a good chance that those are small glands that secrete your natural lubricant during intercourse,
Wish you all the best,
Nicole
