I have been feeling sick and have had a fever for the last three days. It came on all of a sudden, and is really bad. Then, this morning, I woke up to notice that I had lost my voice. I don't have a cold, or at least there is no phlegm to speak of. How come I lost my voice then? And of course, how do I get my voice back fast?
Perhaps your fever was the result of a bacterial infection that attacked your vocal chords? Are you having any other symptoms? If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, could it be that you have got H1N1? I have heard that this strain of fly can cause unpredictable symptoms on occasions.

Yes, I am having lots of symptoms that point to the flu! My joints are aching, I am having trouble sleeping at night, and am suffering from this migraine-like headache nearly constantly too. Tylenol clears it up for a while, and then, when that has stopped working, the fever returns. Do you really think I have the swine flu?
