Hi, I need a friend to start my fight with heroin addiction. It seems to me like everybody has left me. If I had some support, I would feel so much better.
Hi, sure you must be feeling very week and unprotected, specially if there is no one to help you fight addiction. Generally, until you reach the bottom you will not try to give up taking drugs. You can always find support at local centers for young people affected by addiction. There is always some charity organization looking after young addicts. You can join some group or get a counselor. But, all this can work out only if you are ready to change and sick and tired of being addicted. I hope you will manage to get some help and go over addiction.
Hi, theres no easy way to go through a detox period, it sux, hard, and thats all there is to it.
Think about how life was before the addiction, no matter how bad things seemed then, this definately made it so much worse, now you see that, im sure, and the only way to get back to 'maybe not great, but I feel effin human again!!' is to grit your teeth and buckle down!!
Tell me a little bit more about your length of addiction etc and I might be able to give you some tips.... been there done that.
