recently i noticed what i assume to be a mole around the vaginal area,over the last couple of months i now have several which have appeared,they look exactly like moles,dark brown and only one of them seems to be raised...........is this anything to worry about?? :-(
I have a few of them too, mine are a reddish black. As long as you know about ABCD'S you should be fine. Still get it checked out by your doctor, but they will most likely tell you the same thing. You just have to keep an eye on them because they can like all moles become cancerous.
One reason that skin moles may increase is the body's response to your hormone level; it is common for skin moles to increase when the body is going through natural hormonal changes. Some of the hormone changes that may cause mole increase are adolescence, pregnancy (which I'm sure is where mine came from) and menopause. They should be pretty small, but if they bother you, I'm sure your doctor can remove them. Hope this helps! :-)
