The time it takes for these symtosym to go away greatly depends on the person. But i quite smoking at the very end of March, cravings we're the worst only for about a week was also pretty gassy but feeling alright. Week 2 hit like a train, literally felt like a train wreck in my gut. Finally it all let loose with an added high fever and nauseousness and headache. The worst of it lasted 3 days. It gradually tapered off. As of now 1 month in I've noticed I'm very sensitive to what I eat and drink. Caffeine is a no go, spicy is a no go, vinegar is a no, and so is Mayo based food stuffs. Chicken and vegetables are my go to now. I recommend taking a probiotic daily, as well as a daily vitamin to help you body reset. Stay hydrated and stay away from energy drinks and coffee.
