So I smoked Marijuana four weeks ago now,
I had three to four drags of a joint and still feel very slow. I don't in any way feel (stoned) more dumb. My reaction time is not directly effected however my coordination and thought processes are definitely effected from when I smoked it. I am in no way being paranoid. Something has happened to my brain and i am not sure what it is and why it has lasted so long.
I am trying to find out the following;
- How long could this last for.
- why is it effecting my thought process so significantly four weeks after the fact
- How do I counteract this feeling?

In summery " I can't think properly , please help"!

please don't comment if you have nothing intelligent to say. This is a serious issue for me and at the moment is effecting everything i do.
Thank you
Yes, you are paranoid.
No, it's not affecting you now.
Stressful paranoia may be affecting you.
Lack of sleep, change in diet, medications (OTC or prescribed), other stress..... a number of things can affect your overall health/ mood, although the number one thing is your mind, how you interpret things can greatly determine how you feel.

The weed is NOT doing ANYTHING to you weeks later though. Look at what else is going on in your life.

Go do something for a full day, hobby, work, school, anything that will take your mind off of thinking it was the weed for the entire day, then at the end of the day think back, do you remember "feeling" slow? The answer will be NO because if you have your mind on something else you will not be obsessing about how the weed "is still affecting" you & you will then realize it really was all in your head. Give it a shot. You may have some other issue, but it's not due to the weed, unless you've been smoking "since" four weeks ago.
