I used Pro- Active for about 3 months and everything was fine until I stopped using it

I used Pro- Active for about 3 months and everything was fine until I stopped using it. I didnt have terrible acne when I bought it but I heard it was so good! So after I stopped using it I got huge bumps all over my face the ones underneath the skin and it lasted for about 6 months. I didnt even want to leave the house! Now I have scars and permanent brown spots. DONT USE THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SEVERE ACNE!
