I am tired of hearing if you were careful this wouldn't have happened. I konw i was i was on birth control and also was working on getting my tubes tied i had signed the paperwork and waited the 30 days required by law to schedule my appointment the day i went in to schedule my appointment i was told they had an available appointment the following week just fill out the last two papers and pee in a cup then we would schedule it for the following week so i did my papers and went and peed in the cup and the lady at the front said have a seat it should just be a few minutes as soon as the nurse gave her the go ahead we would be all set. So i sat there for about 10minutes and then a nurse came out called my name took me back to a room and just said the doctor would be in shortly.the doctor came in and said I'm sorry but we can't go ahead with your procedure but congratulations your gonna have another baby. I am now almost 12 weeks and trying desperately to find a way to have a miscarriage i have no transportation to get out of town and the closest place that does abortions is a 2 hour drive away. If anyone can give me any ideas i would be very grateful.

I'm a college student and am on the pill, but I think I might be pregnant. My boyfriend knows this and understands that now is not a good time for me to have a kid or to carry a pregnancy, and he supports my decision to terminate. However, I'm on my parents' insurance, and I don't want them to know, so I'm trying to find a way to miscarry without having to spend hundreds of dollars on an abortion. I heard that taking lots of vitamin C pills (without bioflavonoids, which prevent miscarriage) will cause miscarriage, although it is unsafe to take more than 6000 mg per day. I've been doing it for five days and so far my period is still late. Does anyone know any other home methods?

A close friend of mine became pregnant at age 18 and went to a crisis pregnancy center. Crisis pregnancy centers exist to convince vulnerable young women to carry the fetus to term, sometimes against their best interests. My friend had to put her life on hold for nine months of uncomfortable pregnancy and is now struggling to pay her bills and put herself through community college, as her family has cut her off. Had she had an abortion, she would have been able to go into the military and then to a four-year institution, which was her original plan. I can't say for anyone what is the right choice for them, and I know my friend had her reasons why adoption was the right choice for her. However, don't try to tell people that something is the wrong choice unless you know them and know their story. I know that women regret abortion. I'm probably pregnant with the child of the man I want to marry, and we both know we want to have kids further down the line. However, we also both know that now is a terrible time for us to have a kid, and it wouldn't be fair to us or to the kiddo to carry it to term (adoption is not an option for us--if I went to all the trouble to endure 9 freaking months of pregnancy with the child of the man I love, I'm keeping the damn thing, there's no way I'm giving it up after all that). If I do turn out to be pregnant, I will have an abortion. My boyfriend supports my decision, and it's the right choice for me. Don't try to tell me I need to go to a crisis center--it's not a crisis, it's a situation. It happens, and you either upend your life for nine months and/or forever, or you get an abortion. Different things are right for different people, and they need to make that decision on their own, not under anti-choice coercion.
