If I'm NOT pregnant then what's wrong with me?

I'm 53 yrs. old and just started skipping a periods about 10 months ago.  My last one was in March ( a light one) and was the first one I had since the middle of Dec.  Then about 6 weeks ago I noticed my stomach started swelling up and I started feeling a fluttering in my lower left side.  Now my bstomach is even bigger (much bigger) and the fluttering has turned into kicks and rolls.  However, I've taken 3 home preg. tests and a blood test all came back negative. On top of all this my husband had a vasectomy over 22 years ago.  I have been pregtnant 8 times and miscarried all but 2 times and one of the pregnancies that survived ended with the baby dying at 3 mos. old.  I also have many health problems and am on many medications.  Does any body any where have any idea what I should do or what to expect?  Any reply would be much appreciated.  Pam R.

Call an OBGYN and ask for an ultrasound. If all your tests are coming back negative and you feel pregnant, then an ultrasound (by the sound of it) should be showing at the least a sac by now. If nothing is found, ask him what could be causing it. Is it possible that you are pre-menopausal? Menopause can cause a lot of bloating, as well as contractions due to fluctuating hormones.

Hi Pam,
My name is Kris & I'm experiencing the same symptoms as your've written. I am curious whether you found out what was causing these "flutters" please.
I am a 46 year old woman & I have put on weight & the movements are happening on my upper right side of my stomach where the liver is I think?
I've just been 'surfing' the Net for any info, tho, I will be making an appointment to see a new Doctor soon.
I hope everything is okay with you, Pam?
Thank you for reading my post!
Best wishes from,
Kris :)
