I recently had neck surgery, so I have about a 3" scar on my neck. Im not a vain person, but I dont really like this scar. I started using Mederma Scar Gel 2 days ago, praying that this scar minimizes. As of now I am EXTREMELY itchy. I look like a dog scratching fleas. My scar is only a couple of months old, so its still really sensitive, but Im going to try to stick it out, because the after effects I hope will be worth the itchies.
I would discontinue the use of the 'Mederma Scar Gel 2', It could be an allergic reaction.
I am having the same reaction to my neck scar; did it work?????
