My grandmother recently has been told that she need hip replacement surgery. She suffers from osteoarthritis in the hip joint for years and it became even difficult for her walking with cane. Will this decrease her pain and what we can except after the procedure?

I am sorry to hear this, because my grandmother had hip replacement surgery this year. Maybe it is too early to tell but it has been at least five months and she is still in pain. She can’t walk without someone’s help. Healthy, active people often have very good results after hip replacement surgery, but. Sometimes, a person’s body reacts to the man-made joint. Like with my grand ma, there is inflammation causing the joint to loosen.
