I got in contact with a poisonous spray of one of the sea fish whilst swimming and developed some inflammation on my hand. what is the best remedy?

If it was from a jellyfish or something along the lines of that just leave it be. I have been told if you put clear nail polish on the sore and let it dry it may pull the part of tenticle that is stuck in your hand. Just don't itch it if it's itchy, it'll take longer to heal.
