Hi There,
I have been facing infertility issues for the past four years. After meeting many doctors with no result, light started to shine at the end of the tunnel after a recent visit to a Professor. The Professor advised to undergo surgery given the ultra sound image report, sonographer, to correct the fallopian tubes and ovaries which are facing in the inverse position. This surgery to correct the position will improve chances of conceiving by 90%. I am 23 had a miscarriage on 23rd may 2012 married for four years. The Professor noted the possibility of the Auto Immune system triggering after miscarriage and caused for the inverse position of the fallopian tubes and ovaries. The Professor seems to be very well educated, knowledgeable and experienced in the field of infertility. Nevertheless, I would like some piece of mind on the surgery proposed. Can I please request if anyone had a similar experience? success rates? After visiting many doctors, none mentioned the surgery proposed as if it is unknown and the fact that the fallopian tubes and ovaries are facing upwards was never brought forward by any of the doctors we visited previously also concerns me, all that was advised was IVF treatment and that I am more likely pre menopause becuase of high FSH levels and will potentially need to revert to egg donation as a final case. Very much appreciate your thoughts and feedback.
Thanks.
