My kid has some serious problems with his health. He is anemic. Doctors say that he has less iron in blood then he should have. He was very weak and he felt fatigue. Also he has lost his appetite. Doctors now suggest intravenous iron infusion therapy. I have heard that from my husband who has took him to last examination. Why does he have to do that by infusion?
My cousin also had problems with anemia. He had been injured in car crash last summer. He had suffered severe blood loss. Due to that his iron levels in blood was extremely low. At first he took iron orally, but it didn’t work. He had to take iron infusion therapy. Doctors have explained me that it is because of weak gastrointestinal iron absorption. Maybe your child has the same problem.
