The age fighting over the counter drug Prevagen has aequorin as its main ingredient, do we know if it is safe to consume a 10 mg tablet daily?

One of my friends is using Prevagen as a prevention of the memory loss and she is very satisfied with it. She is 48 years old and few years back she has noticed that the sharpness of her brain is fading.
