Hi Sweaty,

Thanks for checking up on me everyone. I am doing so great now I can hardly believe it. Still using the TEA forms and feeling more in control of my life and moods than ever. How's everyone else doing?

you put in the work with the help of the therapist who tries to let you see things differently about yourself, changing negative self thoughts, and helping you change your thinking about yourself and how you think others perceive you. It can be done in combination with medications , and sometimes without depending on the severity of the depression. In my own case, i was on medication along with CBT, but i slowly got off the meds and i have gotten  a lot better.

Hi jackray and welcome to the site. I was on meds too when I learned CBT and weaned off of them and have not taking any since and feel the best I have ever felt now. I still counter my thoughts in the TEA forms because I don't ever want to slide back to my old thinking, but it's a small price to pay and only takes me a couple minutes now to do them as opposed to how long I spent on them when I started.
