I really wish people would try to focus on the actual topic of discussion. Some of us actually like to go places and not have to be constantly asking what is in foods or going to a friends for dinner and just sitting down and enjoying what is put in front of us to eat! I like to eat out, and I also like to be social and I have a job where I interact with people. When you have abdomenal cramping and embassing gas because of an intolerance to lactose for whatever reason the last thng you need, is to ask for help and have other people's moral opinions about the dairy industry and how we shouldnt drink milk or eat dairy jammed down our throats. Sometimes you just want to eat a meal and it not be all about what you can and can't eat. Anyone who has suffered from the anxiety associated with gastrointestinal problems would understand that. Thanks to everyone who actually stayed on topic and I will give the lactase enzymes a try. Happy day to you all :)
Calves drink milk once they have grown up into cows they eat grass and drink water
Some city folk have no idea
That's the stupidest, most self-centered thing I've ever heard. If you truely believe that everything in the world was created for humans you need a serious god damn reality check
Calves drink milk, just like you did from your mother! Cows on the other hand do not drink milk! They graze or eat hay or grain!
Well said. I couldn't have put it better myself..
Like most people on this planet, I am lactose intolerant. The genetic mutation that allows lactase to be produced after infancy is found in Europe and some parts of Asia and Africa, but lactose tolerance is not normal. We don't need to consume dairy to obtain sufficient calcium and most people get it from other sources. We actually don't need that much calcium as adults because our bones aren't growing. In European and north American cuisine, butter and cream are often used to make food rich and tasty, which can make it very difficult for lactose intolerants to eat a meal safely. The actual lactose intolerance response occurs within an hour and the lactose does not have to reach the colon first. In most lactose intolerants, the most immediate response is brain fog and sleepiness, which is awkward and unpleasant (and even dangerous). The bowel symptoms kick in later and can last for a couple of days. I have tried many lactase pills and they don't work because the enzyme cannot survive the harsh acidity of the stomach to reach the small intestine intact. The best solution is to avoid dairy. Eat Thai or Chinese food. If you must eat in a risky restaurant, have plain meat or fish (no sauce) and fries, rice, or boiled veg. Don't spoil your meal out by trusting these tablets to work because they don't.
Lol yep, got that right
Hi, Humans stop producing lactase after 20's and the body needs this enzyme to digest lactose. This tablet should be taken when you consume dairy products. It's a safe tablet. We are not milk intolerant, our body just changes and must pharmaceutical refuse to inform us about this changes. It's natural to start getting bloated after our 20's when lactose is consume. It will be good to share more and more with others how to prevent it. Works wonders ;)
People this is a serious forum about a disease that causes much discomfort. Those of you who can eat milk etc be thankful. It took 5 yrs before all the testing I had because of pain in abdomen, bloating, nausea, etc was finally diagnosed the root of all my problems. I avoid dairy etc best I can...let me tell you it's not fun. So chill!
I'll be brief BS. How incredibly arrogant that is to believe!
Yes u can take lactase enzyme tablets which are available as yamoo tablets in india.
Perhaps you might like to read a few research papers before claiming 0° evidence. Calcium is essential for healthy bone & teeth formation milk also contains enzymes, & electrolytes also needed to maintain cell structure and brain & heart health. Trying to sound knowledgeable when you have not doneyour homework just makes you loook ridiculous. I have Crohns so my. Gut no longer produces lactase! Therefore I am lactose intolerant. In milk & dairy are also electrolytes such as calcium, potassium & magnesium essential to maintain health. I cannot get these from other sources because of my Crohns! Lactase tablets prevent me having to give up dairy so I can get these essentials! The alternative is monthly trips to hospital to be given iv top ups. Expensive & time consuming!
Don't think everyone does not understand milk & dairy, lactase and lactose just because you don't!

I agree in principle with much of what you say but feel I must comment from the Crohns, IBD angle in that for me & many like myself cannot eat nuts, seeds, fibre, leafy greens or may other foods that would provide the essential electrolytes my body needs. Lactase tablets do allow me to have a moderate amount of dairy & get the essential enzymes & electrolytes I need to maintain brain & heart health. Every person on this planter is different! We are all unique, what works for one may not work for another. Just try the lactase tablets and see. Always seek professional guidance with children though. Have a healthy day & a happy life.
yeah they dont drink.they suck from cows boobs
