my mom is 50 years old. recentle we get to know that she have growing tumers in her right kidney.. doctors suggest to operate n remove the kidney. but the problem is they also not sure whether it is a cancer or what..they just said that operate it or it will be dangeraus and have no other treatment. i want to know that how to clearly know that is a cancer tumer with any scanning. and if it is cancer is there any treatment which can cure it without operate and remove it.cure with some other treatment.

The only way to truly know if it is cancerous would invovle a biopsy - a sample of the tumor would be removed and tested.
Some tumors can be reduced by radiation therapy or sometimes medication - but it depends upon the tumor.
Get a second opinion and ask LOTS of questions. The doctor works for YOUR MOM and should be willing to answer questions with both of you.
