My doctor replaced my therapy for neuropathy. So far I was on Neurotin and he switched me on Lyrica. Is Lyrica better than Neurotin?
Neurontin for the treatment of neuropathy, other than that caused by shingles is considered an “off-label” use of the drug. Soon, Pfizer will be replacing Neurontin with its new drug which, although more expensive, has an improved side effect profile. I guess that is the reason your doctor made changes. I think that Lyrica is better than Neurotin.
