Hi. You said you haven't got your period yet - does that mean that you have never had it or that you are late? Have you had sex recently? Headaches, cramps and increased discharge are all signs of early pregnancy and that your period is due to arrive. If you have had unprotected sex and are late for your period then it would be wise to take a test, if you haven't had your period yet it is probably not too far away.

I agree. Since you didn’t get your period, it would be wise to do a home pregnancy test. They would give you the correct results now for sure since the hormones used for pregnancy detection are surely visible a day after you period was about to arrive.

The problem with early pregnancy symptoms is that they resemble pre-menstrual symptoms. All the symptoms you mentioned I always have before I would get my period especially excessive discharge and low abdominal cramps. I also get backache, which you may as well experience in early pregnancy although it is more common later.

When were you supposed to get your period? Has this happened before or are you usually regular? I myself often freak when my period doesn’t come on time. It may come three days late but it appears to me as if it were 3 months late especially if I had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend.
Like Is aid, the only way to know for sure it to get a test, because the symptoms are really hard to distinguish.

My boyfriend and I have never had vaginal intercourse. Only oral sex, After he ejaculates- we always clean it up with a towel. But after we clean it up- he always wants to put his fingers inside of me. If there were sperm on his finger could I get pregnant? And when we did this I had a tampon in, but the last day we did it it was the end of my period-so I only had a small pad on. Could I be pregnant? My period just ended 8 days ago and I've had milky white discharge, and my ovaries hurt(like side ache pains) I bought a home pregnancy test- but is says do not take any earlier than 19 days after having unprotected sex. So can you get pregnant from no vaginal penetration? OR Is this a sign of ovulation? I am 21, and this is the first time I have had the ovary pain.... I have always had the clear, white milky discharge after a period, but never the pain.. is this just the first time I'm getting this because I am getting older?? PLEEZ HELP

no you are not pregnant. once sperm hits the air there is no way it can happen! But i do suggest seeing your doctor as those can be symptoms of something else

Unfortunately that is a myth. Sperm does not die on contact with air. It will die soon outside of a body due to lack of body heat. But it isn't the air that kills it. Unfortunately, you can get pregnant from that kind of activity. I would suggest being more careful next time. Oh, and please don't be pushing things in there with a tampon in hon, you don't need to mess that up. Ever heard of TSS?

funny girlie's, you gals should look stuff up or talk to a doctor first before posting things like this. I understand that at your ages and being scared of what people may say or think in your family it is harder for you ask questions. Take it from me, personally, I lost my virginity at 14 and did not have my first pap smear until I was 18. At that time, I found out that I had chlamydia, due to there being no symptoms I didn't know for how many years?? Take care of your body as if you would anything else in important in this life. I am now 28 years old and believe me, these little things that you might find embarassing to ask end up being big deals. Think about your future. Your health is worth everything in the world. You can get pregnant no matter if you had sex or not like that. Don't believe the little boys when they say they are going to "pull out", that doesn't stop it either. Pre-ejaculate is the first little burst of strong swimmers. If you have ever done anything to a guy and noticed that he is wet before he ejaculates, that is what pre-ejaculate is. If sperm comes into contact with your vagina, it is possible to get pregnant. Make sure you are educated by either talking to your doctor, a planned parenthood associate/doctor/nurse or a woman that you trust. It doesn't have to be your mother, but someone who understands and can give you information that is truthful and knowledgeable. If you are not ready to have children in your teenage years, make sure you are using birth control. Condoms are not the only form of protection. Girls/ladies can take this perspective into their own hands now also with different methods, but also condoms are basically the safest way to keep yourself clean from STD's or other diseases such as AIDS and Genital Herpes that never will go away. If you don't feel like the topic of you own body should be discussed and that a guy doesn't respect your decision to not do something, then it's not worth risking it to do it in the first place. i haven't had my period this month but i did 4 weeks ago at it was normal heavy w/ clots. the last time i had sex was 7 weeks ago. i ovulated two weeks ago. i guess im just freaked my period is irregular sometimes but mostly normal every 28 to 29 days, and its the 30 day. i took a preg test at the docs yesterday and it was negative. she said that it was very accurate since its been about 7 weeks since i had sex and that my preg hormone would have been easily detected. i been very stressed and i might have ovary/thyroid problems (they are hereditary in my fam.). i did develop today, white thick discharge like i sometimes do before my period and lower back pains as well. im hoping i get it soon because its just so weird without it. have you guys ever gotten this?

glamgrl2- around the time of your period.. or after, you can have little cyst (or sometimes larger cyst) to form and burst and can cause some very serious pain!! its very common. may want to visit your obgyn just to be sure!!

I have a question, i wanted to know if i am pregnant. Ok, for starters, me and my bf never have protected sex.and he only pulls out sometimes. Recently, my period was five days late. But my breasts are extremely sore, and are getting bigger by the week. I feel like i am about to throw up after i eat, but i dont. I also feel dizzy at night sometimes. My period finally came on after being five days late, but it's not as heavy. Could I still be pregnant?

It sounds like you definitely could be pregnant. Breast tenderness and growth happen during pregnancy, as do dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Also, some women bleed a little bit from the implantation. It sounds like you should take a pregnancy test, either at home or with a doctor.

I had my menses last month and I had sex on 3rd day of it. It stopped after that, and I have been experiencing mucus and water coming out of my vagina. Am I pregnant?
