Please can someone tell me how long you can take olanzapine for and wether it is addictive. I have read that it is only recomemded to take for 8 weeks . Is this true?
It is said that olanzapine is not addictive although some withdrawals may occur after long term use and abrupt discontinuing of the drug.

If I am not mistaking Olanzapine is used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia. How long have you been using this medication? I am not really sure about the addition from this medication but there are several side effects that you have to pay attention to. For instance you might feel problems with dizziness and restlessness. Depression is also a side effect of these pills along with constipation and possible weight gain. You also have to be careful with your menstrual period because this can be affected as well. Breast problems such as discharges are noticeable when you take these pills.
