Is there a reason why my legs can not tan to save my life. I always joke to people it is because of my nationalities. Is there actually a link between them? Or could is be something else? (I am Cherokee, Italian, German, Hungarian, Irish, Dutch, Sicilian, and Polish)

Yeah, it could be because of your nationality. I mean your genes. Genes have an important role and lots of power, you should never underestimate them. However, the reason why your legs cannot get tanned might be because of something else; some other skin condition. You could be in lack of melano cites, so there is nothing to “tan” in your legs. Some people have the white spots on their skin that cannot get tan. Maybe its that? You can always see a dermatologist and check your skin in detail. He or she can tell you exactly why you are having this issue. Hope this helps
