Is this childhood insanity

Ok, when i was a child i swear i had schizophrenia. each night there was this creature that looked like a childs toy with a human hand attached to it. It used to tickle my foot so when i lifted the covers it tried to strangle me this continued for a year i tried telling my parents but they wouldn't believe me they said it was my imagination. TRUST ME the feelings and the actual grasp of it was as real as life its self............. i was traumatized by it if thats what you can call it. it used to talk to me saying it was coming to kill me or it will always be haunting me. Then i moved house when i was 7. my first night there and It came for me. my older brother walked past the door and just as he did a satanic voice came from within the darkness " Danny, Danny, im here for you............ it grabbed my feet and i kicked it away and it replied "I'm always watching you, you can't escape from me" now im 13 and i can still remember the fear like it was just yesterday. Now whenever i go past my old house (because my grandma lived over the road) i always remember the hand as i called it.

Any suggestions,questions or thoughts? i doubt you've faced anything more terrifying in your life. i always sleep with my feet outside my blanket.
