itch patch on back of left shoulder

I have the same thing, but now it feel as if I had a sunburn, but there is nothing there. It sometimes hurts as if I have a bruise. What can it be :(

You may be onto something. I've had chronic neck pain for the last two years in the last year is gotten worse. About two months ago I began itching like crazy. My concern is that I have terrible rash is that look like bug bites. I've tried everything but I'm starting toThink it might be neurological. I'm going to try your stretches and see if I can beat this thing thank you

I found something that has been keeping my NP at bay for six months now. I went to a physical/massage therapist and he didn't know about NP but when I explained the problem and the cause (nerve getting pinched in the spine), he recommended the following exercise to stretch out the spine and release the pressure on the nerve:Grab your left wrist with your right hand and lean over as far as you can to the right, pushing your left hip out as far as you can and hold the position for ten seconds. Repeat two more times and then do the same on the other side. Simple exercise that only takes a couple of minutes but it's completely relieved the itching that was driving me bonkers. Makes sense to address the cause of the itching rather than just using drugs and creams to relieve the itch for a while. Your mileage might vary but it's working for me.

I have the same exact thing. The pain is under my left arm and is almost like a complete shock. Sometimes it's so bad that I would lose my vision for a couple seconds, or immediately fall to the ground. It happens very rarely though, so it makes it hard to convince a Dr there is something seriously wrong. I went 4 times, had an mri of my head and neck, and they said they could not find anything.

I have been experiencing repeated itching on my upper left shoulder blade for about the last two years. Sometimes it happens on my right side and in between both scapula but mostly on the left. I knew it wasn't due to dry skin as I suffer from bouts of atopic dermatitis which is a completely different type of itch. It must be something related to the nervous system, if you look into the study of dermatones and how the nervous system relates to specific areas of the body it makes sense... However treating it with topical remedies can be time consuming and costly. I recommend seeing a registered massage therapist

I had a triple bypass in 2013. I fell on the left side of my back on the coffee table. I hit from the left side of my head clear down to the waist. I never had anything but an xray. Now my physical therapist says I have a twisted rib. I had a headache for 3 months and my back has never quit.
But also I've been holding my phone muchmuch more than before surgery. I couldn't work so was selling my inventory on the groups for my business. I've built such a muscle that I have to rub pain cream on it all the time. Got to put the phone down.
Either one of these could gave caused this TOTALLY ANNOYING ITCH. What do you all think?

Did you hear about your itch and pain? I have shortness of breath, hyperinflation of the lungs, rib cage is expanded and had an itch under left shoulder blade for 2 1/2 years. Now the itch is turned into pain in the same spot and my husband rubbed the area and the muscle is unbearably sore. Does an itch that turns to pain a sign of cancer or a tumor?

I have been dealing with this for about three months now. I am going insane. I have scabs from causing myself to bleed, I can't find any relief. It was the tops of my shoulders but also the outside of my arms and upper back...
